Holy Orders (Priesthood)
The Sacrament of Holy Orders is the continuation of Christ’s priesthood, which He bestowed upon His Apostles; thus, the Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to the Sacrament as “the sacrament of apostolic ministry.”
